Welcome to
THE ANDROID'S DUNGEON

We've added nothing new to our collection of stories since August 2010,
but felt it was long past time we tidied up a bit and made it all
a fraction more user-friendly -
which is why we decided to make the move over to Blogger.

This will almost certainly be the Dungeon's last incarnation;
it's been in existence for more than fifteen years, but most of the stories
had been published in zines long before they appeared online
and must now be of only antiquarian interest to most fans.
Apart from anything else, we don't believe it is completely fair
to judge the fiction of yesterday by the
more sophisticated standards of today;
what was considered 'good' then is less likely to be thought so now -
the world has moved on a great deal since most of these were written.

(This is why we removed some stories during 2012;
please see 'Hit List' for details.)

In the meantime we've moved on to other things;
many of us are now producing semi-pro gay fiction
which is published in e-book form by:

Please check out our current and future projects!

  1. Hello,

    I'm looking for a fanfic I read years ago on BritSlash Fiction site. The fanfic was 'Indiana Jones and The Last Taboo'. I'd really like to read it again(and again) and I'm hoping you could help me in finding an existing and working link to this work? Or possibly send me a .txt, .doc or .pdf version? My e-mail is: kou.andri(at)gmail.com

    I'd be endlessly grateful as I remember this piece as one of the most amazing fanfictions I've ever read.

    Best wishes,
    Kou Andri

    1. I did reply to you, Kou, but I haven't heard back whether you received what I sent you.

    2. Hi,
      I'm also searching for that Indiana Jones fic and this reply seems like the only solid lead. If you do perhaps have a copy I wonder if you'd be willing to share it - I can be reached at ellie.mayflower@gmail.com.

      Thanks!

    3. Sorry, Ellie, but the previous requester screwed it up for everyone - I didn't even get a 'thank you', and it's made me far less inclined to go to any trouble to dig out old files and send them to people. I'm not suggesting you'd necessarily behave in the same way, but there has to be a cut-off point and unfortunately that's now been reached.

    4. Sorry to hear that, I imagine the experience didn't engender particularly strong feelings of generosity. Ah well, I guess the search continues. It's so strange that there doesn't seem to be any mention of it online except here but I'm very grateful to have found this thread on your blog - at least I know I didn't hallucinate that fic!

      Thanks for taking the time to reply, I really appreciate it either way. Here's hoping any and all of your future fandom encounters are a lot more pleasant than what transpired last year.

    5. Hello to everybody,
      I write from Italy and I would like to tell to the Owner of this Blog that I feel sorry about how people treated him not thanking him for his kindness and steling his stories for their own business.
      I don't want to disturb the Owner but I really would like to be able to read INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST TABOO because a friend of mine told me it is a MAGNIFICENT story and it is a pity we can't read it because other persons' bad way to act...
      I feel really bad...
      Thank you and ciao
      Angelo

  2. Your story "The Real Captain Hastings" is the gem of all friends-to-lovers fiction, and the Koo-I-Noor of Poirot stories. I live in dread that it might disappear from the Web. Would you please consider uploading it, and whatever other of your stories please you, to the Archive Of Our Own? I would be honored to provide an invitation for you to do so. Or even to act as your agent in doing so,

    Feel free to reach me at baenwitch (at) yahoo.

    1. Hi 'witch'. I'm afraid I am never, ever going to be uploading anything - either directly or by proxy - to AO3; I would far rather retain control of my own work. If you're so keen on 'The Real Captain Hastings' you should feel free to download it and print off a copy for yourself, but please don't make copies or upload it anywhere. I expect this website/archive to remain in existence for the foreseeable future, but I'm not in any position to guarantee its survival indefinitely.

  3. Hi there! I'm a long time fan who's been hanging around enjoying your works for the past 10+ years and a friend recently pointed me towards a fanzine published by you/Crevichon Press called Uncharted Waters #1 (small world!). This lovely looking publication has one of the only Morgan's Boy fics in existence beyond Judith Proctor's and my own recent paltry addition, and I was really hoping we would be able to locate a copy through you if any such thing exists anymore? Such a long time since they were published! Thanks very much for your time if you do get a chance to read this, and thank you for sharing all your wonderful fic over the years! :)

  4. Hi! I have read your Poirot fanfiction "The Real Captain Hastings" and I wanted to tell you that it was brilliant and touching. I'm not used to blogs anymore but it's good to see we still have them, and I feel a sense of nostalgia upon finding this one. Thank you for writing your stories, and sharing them with us.
